I changed my default icon. Please don't be alarmed.

P.S. I love that clock in the background. It's a mechanical clock with exposed gears and it makes a delightful ticking sound and dings every hour. It has a big weight that I have to raise every day or two and adjust the time slightly. It's brilliant.

Oh man, clock ticking sounds. My boyfriend is clock mad and pretty much has a clock set up everywhere in his apartment. EVERYWHERE. There's a clock on the wall in the BATHROOM even. And he's unnerved by the lack of clocks on the wall in my place. (I always just rely on my computer, or iPod, or phone, or the microwave, or the alarm clock in the bedroom, or the oven.) So I bought one to put up for him only to find that it ticks. And apparently clicking clocks are the bane of somebody who has a quiet apartment all to themselves. IT SOUNDS LIKE DEATH or something. So the clock is currently battery-less and useless. It was, however, only a cheap thing from Target and had no spiffy gears.

Gah yes, I hate ticking clocks! I have a watch, a laptop, a phone, and a microwave, and they all tell the time... that's enough for me!
